“Dessert Plating Competition” is a competition for expertise in preparing, processing and decorating desserts by combining restaurant-style dessert serving techniques at five-star hotels, according to the innovation and creativity of each participant. The purpose of this competition is to hone the participants’ skills in processing and serving traditional cakes typical of their respective regions of origin, into dishes that are able to compete with desserts from other countries with a more competitive selling price standard.

“Making Bed” is a competition for arranging hotel guest beds as one of the most important stages of work that must be carried out by room attendants (room boy/maid). The most important aspects to consider in making a bed are aspects of cleanliness, neatness, beauty, thoroughness, and comfort. This year’s making bed competition theme is Honeymoon. This competition aims to measure the ability of students in the field of hospitality and/or tourism in arranging hotel guest rooms.
